Wikipedia definition of Flexibility -

"Flexibility or limberness refers to the absolute range of movement in a joint or series of joints, and length in muscles that cross the joints. Flexibility is variable between individuals, particularly in terms of differences in muscle length of multi-joint muscles. Flexibility in some joints can be increased to a certain degree by exercise, with stretching a common exercise component to maintain or improve flexibility."

Not exactly immediately obvious when trying to compare the human body with your company. But stretching your imagination you can see why it makes sense to think about flexibility when you want to grow your company.

Is a more flexible body a better body?
Does someone who can contort more than the next person mean that they can generally move better and faster?

Well I would argue “Yes” to both questions, which then begs the question.

“Is a more flexible company a better company?

Continuing the analogy - Without flexibility you will seize up, begin to move more slowly, and generally miss more opportunities in business because you simply cannot move fast enough.

When setting up a new business the natural choice seems to be working at home or renting a permanent office space. A virtual office will give you the benefits of both by getting your mail delivered to out professional office address and forwarded to your home.

Search Google for "startup" and you get 131,000,000 returns. No shortage if information out there then.

Maybe that's one of the problems - there is just too much information, too much room for confusion. Too much information and too much fear.
